Sleeker hunters

Billy is getting to be down right svelte, having lost 3 ounces since the last weigh-in. He's at 14 lbs 5 oz. Whitey is also losing, though a little more slowly, at 13 lbs 7 oz. Both are getting pretty close to where they should be.

If our filing system can be believed, Billy's happy nap was photographed when he was a "little" kitten catten in July 2004 2005.




Updated: I didn't believe the little (I originally read the year as 2004), I did and do believe the happy.

Slimming down

The boys continue their downward trend, with Billy coming in at 14 lbs 8 oz and Whitey at 13 lbs 9.5 oz. Only down a few ounces since the last weigh-in, but that's okay.

Bird Watching

The summer isn't dead yet. With the outside temperature at 61 this morning, I opened the sun deck window for Whitey, and Billy joined him for a spell to watch the birds. I sort of miss Emily's daily visits, so it was nice to have the boys stop by.

A Change of Season

The seasons are changing. Labor Day has come and gone, and the nights in New England are getting crisper.

But we really know the change is here because this morning Whitey borrowed under the blanket while I was in the shower. This marked his first day time expedition since spring.

Battle of the bulge

Billy continues to lose weight, down three ounces since the last weigh-in, at 14 lbs 9 oz. Whitey is stable, at 13 lbs 10 oz.

Today we belatedly present the other Millie we saw on our summer vacation back in June, the happy Corgi who watches over Katherine's Aunt and Uncle in Maryland.



Needless to say, this Millie is not be confused with Bluegrass Millie. (Millie the Corgi is a lot more sociable than Bluegrass Millie.)
