Is it spring yet?
This afternoon, I opened the stairwell window to talk to Drew, who was out chopping ice in the driveway. I heard a hopeful kitten chirp and felt gentle paws on my hip. It was Whitey, asking me to move over so he could sit on his window sill. He hopped down pretty quickly, though. Clearly 35 degrees doesn't meet his standard for sunny window perches.

Clean up on Floor 2
I don't remember the last time we assigned the "The Daily Stench" to an post, which speaks volumes about the boys maintenance versus Emily's.
However, Billy woke us up this morning with an official hairball. Just to keep us honest, no doubt.

Administrivia
We're in the process of migrating our web server (and mail server and other not so public toys) to a dedicated remote server with superior bandwidth. However, since both I can't hack and compose witty cat commentary at the same time, the recent public output has been limited.
(This is on the heels of my personal PC aching for a reformat, which killed two weeks of spare time right there.)
This should clear up in a couple of weeks as the server migration is finished. Then we'll return to our regular witty commentary as prompted by the boys.

Hey, wait, that was mine!
I had takeout sushi for dinner last night. Raw fish is not that common a visitor to the Kitten Farm, so we offered the boys a tiny bite of salmon each. (Carefully avoiding wasabi or soy sauce contamination.) Billy inhaled his and went looking for more. Whitey sniffed at his, looked at Drew as if to say, "Are you sure this stuff is food?" About the time he figured out it was, Billy nudged him out of the way and made it disappear. Mew!
