Photo Friday: Pet On a Pedestal
For almost a year, I used a flying monitor stand for my 12" Mac PowerBook to sit on. The PowerBook has been replaced by my work portable (which has its own desk and full sized monitor), but the stand is an occasional perch for Whitey.

Slimming down
The boys have both lost a little weight. Billy came in at 13 lbs 6.5 oz, Whitey at 13 lbs 7 oz. We've upped their food just a hair.

The Mighty Mail Hunter
Background: I like toss to kitty treats to the mighty hunters for them to chase and eat.
An online conversation ...
K:
A kitty treat tosser was silly.
Someone landed one in one of the bins of the mail sorter on the hall table.
Needless to say, Billy was intrigued...
A:
how
loud
was
the
CRASH?
K:
Not too.
He was gently tossing one item at a time on the floor when I found him.
floppies, mail, CD...
Wholesale destruction might have allowed the prey to escape, so he was being relatively gentle.
Relatively.

Boring is good
No weight change for the boys this week. They both come in at 13 lbs, 7 oz.
We're gradually switching them over to c/d food for urinary tract health. The vet warned me that it has fairly high fat content, so we may need to cut back on portion sizes as we make the switch. All the more reason to be diligent with the weigh-ins.
