Ginny, a Schnauzer-Siberian husky mix, will be eulogized at the Westchester Cat Show next weekend. She was named Cat of the Year in 1998 for her uncanny ability to find and rescue cats in distress. She's credited with saving hundreds of cats over the years.
Our crew observes that being named an honorary cat is quite an achievement for any creature, but they agree that Ginny earned the title.
